I'm a collector of various camouflage patterns myself , and recently acquired this rather interesting looking "boonie-hat" with a very mysterious pattern in it.
Now , usually it takes about a few moments for me to identify a "new" pattern into my collection , but this one has bothered me:

What is this ? Some people have argued that it's supposedly Italian , but the only evidence pointing to that is...

This. It's supposedly something called "COMSUBIN model 2002 desert pattern" and I am aware that the COMSUBIN are the Italian navy's special forces.
The patterns look a bit similar to the untrained eye. So I need a (preferably Italian ) second opinion on this one.
Are they the same ? Since the hat has no other visible identification tags besides this little white one with the number "57" on it (Yeah , means the size , I know).
