all I found is this

"...An armed convoy of US soldiers did briefly leave the compound recently, and was filmed returning minutes later with cases of beer..."

A friend of mine said he saw it on BBC where a bunch of marines went out of the embassy compound in what looked like a heavily armed patrol, with the reporter giving a play by play on how the marines snaked along the street from cover to cover. Min. later they came rushing back covering their retreat while carrying cases of heineken. I tried searching for clips in BBC but could not find any, anybody saw this on the news?
