Heya,
I am looking for the Orthographic blueprints fro the UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter. I have done an extensive search and even called Sikhorsky.
At best, I can find top and side, but not front...And most times, they don't match up. I am a 3D modeler, and am looking to model this helo for my portfolio.
Thanks for any help!

Yeah, I have tried that one...Unfortunately, I need the top as well.
I may be asking for the impossible, but maybe, just maybe someone has all 3.
Thanks though!

Well, with those front and side views from suurland and reference pictures, it shouldn't really be that hard to figure it out.

The top one is quite important. For example you can see a box from right view, a box from front view but it's a circle from top...
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/uh-60a.gif Low detail, but shows the general shape from the top. Actually doesn't look very accurate now that I'm looking at it.
Somewhere around here is a photo of an MH-60 airlifting a UH-60 with no rotor, the photo is looking straight down on it. Pretty nice, and should work. Otherwise I'd suggest some screen captures of Blackhawk down, there's a whole bunch of overhead views there.

Don't trust him!!! Maybe he's a spy from Al-Qaida!!
Just kidding.
It would be quite fun to watch insurgents flying around in Blackhawks though. Of course, the fuel cost for one hour of airtime is probably higher than most of them make a year. And they probably couldn't get their hands on any ammo. So basicly they would just fly around looking stupid. But it would be fun to watch.

You do need bluesprints if you want to make an exact replica. Sometimes pictures that were taken "sort of" from xyz direction are not enough.

I'm listening to it all ;) You missed the point that sometimes they're not good enough.
Anyway, I'm prepared to drop the issue because it can drag on and on and on...

No blues for ya, but if you need real detail for your modeling, this site has a walkaround (includes cockpit).
