Any idea, is this new(relatively new) drum mag for 5,45mm or 7.62, since AK 100 series is available in 7,62.
How many rounds does it hold, perhaps 90!?

I know that the old(metal) 7,62 drum mag (which was primarily intended for the RPK) was (and still is) relatively widespread,
i also know that there is 5,45 one, but i have hardly ever seen it in action, if ever.

The one above seems to be made out of some kind of polymer, any idea?

It looks like the normal ones to me...

Same here, but the compensator on his rifle makes me think that he is firing 5.45 or maybe .223. I didnt know that the drum mags were made in that caliber and I dont recall ever seeing one of those compensators on a 7.62. Great, now I wont sleep tonight.

There is new ak 100 series in 7.62, called AK-103 which looks exactly like ak-74m(5.45) w/ same compesator.

I think this one is 5,45 mm, don't know why, its gut feeling, it is def. not .223. And old 5,45 drum looks different to the 7,62 mm one.
It has dark yellow (like old ak74 mags - still in use) polymer rim around the metal drum and it has hardly seen any active use, as far as i know.

... therefore i think this is something new!
