I wonder how important he was or who knew about him. Maybe he was released to see where he would go. I think it was deliberate.Having a known detainee appear as a terrorist after release is a good way to ensure theres pressure to keep some inmates behind , perhaps ?

Two German teams of six Sailors completed four cycles of repelling exercise's onto Saipan's flight deck before returning to their own ship. Kailua-Kona, Hawaii (Oct. 7, 2004) - Navy Lt. Andrew Baldwin, M.D., of Lancaster, Calif., was selected to compete for the U.S. Navy at the Ironman Triathlon World Championships Oct. 16 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Lt. Andrew Baldwin was chosen, along with two other Navy men and one Navy woman, to compete against the other armed service's squads at this year's race. Known as the toughest endurance event in the world, the triathlon spans more than 140 miles and takes more than eight hours to complete. Baldwin is currently assigned to Naval Special Warfare Group Three (NSWG-3) as the Medical Officer.

The Iraqi Coastal Defense Force (ICDF) was officially launched at the port of Umm Qasr, Southern Iraq, Sept. 30, 2004. The ICDF were formed in Jan 2004 and trained by a team made up of a combination of Royal Navy & Marines, Australian Navy, US Navy and Netherlands Navy personnel. The fleet includes five 27 meter Chinese made Predators, eight RIB's (Rigid Inflatable Boats) and a further twenty five RIB's and FAB's (Fast Aluminum Boats) donated by the UAE. The recruits have been trained in numerous skills including, seamanship, mariner skills, fire fighting, gunnery and boarding operations. The ICDF will commence its first operations on 1 October 2004 and assumes responsibility for the protection of Iraq’s maritime sovereignty, including patrolling and protection of the offshore installations and the port of Umm Qasr

I love how everyone seems to think that racism is still widespread in the US.Arabs are going to be under the microscope for a while, and rightfully so. I think everyone can agree on that. Racial profiling can be chalked up to just good police work, common sense, plain and simple, no matter what color you are. It's a minor inconvienece, not to be confussed with predjudice. The ghettos are not being liquidated and there are no trians heading to the death camps. There are some quailtys in Arab culture that really have a long way to come, and they need to put up with a little extra scrutiny. How many innocent Arabs were murdered by US citizens in retaliation for being attacked in 2001? Zero, so lighten up you pussies. And by the way, If you are planning on doing some ethnic cleansing, do yourself a favor and use a little Soft Scrub. It's smoooooooooOOOOoooooth on hands.

There are some 'quailtys' as you put it(it's qualities) in every culture that have a long way to come(which in any case is an opinion by the way). As for arabs being under the microscope, it is nothing but discrimination against a particular race of people. Why do you claim your doing it? because the people that carried out the WTC attacks were allegedly arabs.

You know, rumour has it that the hijackers all had 2 legs and according to your logic we should put everyone with 2 legs under the microsocpe. That includes dead people. In that case i think you should go and dig up some dead people from the cemetery and check to see if they are potential terrorists.
