A WOMAN'S remains which were stolen from her grave may have been fed to guinea pigs by animal rights activists, it was claimed yesterday.
Police believe two people spent more than four hours digging up the body of Gladys Hammond, whose son-in-law breeds the animals for medical research.
And last night, there was speculation that fanatics from the Animal Liberation Front may have been responsible and taken the outrage even further.
A source with links to the ALF said: 'There are no lengths that these people will not go to and feeding this poor woman to the guinea pigs is the sort of irony they would like.'
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Baker, heading the inquiry, refused to say which parts of the body had been had been taken during last Wednesday's raid on the grave in the cemetery of St Peter's Church in the village of Yoxall, Staffordshire.
Mrs Hammond, who died aged 82 in 1997, was the mother-in-law of Chris Hall who breeds guinea pigs at a farm in nearby Newchurch.

GUINEA PIGS ARE SATAN'S WORKERS.
They put a hole in your pocket book because you have to buy stuff for them... otherwise they look up at you with cute glossy wide brown eyes and do this cute squeal thing that breaks your heart....
And did you know they sleep with their eyes open?
Scared the **** out of my first time I saw it.
... Other than that, holy ****, I want to be fed to guinea pigs....
(Besides the fact that guinea pigs are vegitarians and don't eat meat?)

Christopher Hall breeds Guinea pigs and sells them to a company called Huntingdon Life Sciences for medical research. the Animal Liberation Front want him to stop doing it and have resorted to a very dirty campaign including the intimidation of families of farmhands, spreading leaflets falsely accusing farmhands of ******ly abusing children, intimidation and arson against any company that does business with Mr Hall (Even down to the garage that sells him diesel for his tractors and the pub that serves him in his off time) and now this latest thing, the theft of his Mother-In-Laws body. The above article is complete speculation in regards to "feeding his body to Guinea pigs", it's whereabouts are still unknown although Mr Hall has recieved some letters from the people who claim to have it.

I don't see how that whole thing is possible. If she was under the ground for 7 years, there wouldn't be much of her left. And if they used embalming fluid, then her flesh would be too toxic to eat anyway, pumped full of chemicals. It would have turned into something waxy and hard. Besides, aren't guinea pigs mostly omnivores? Sounds like some crazy fear tactic propaganda from crazy animal activists.

Out of weekness, cowardice and/or anger I have done some things that caused pain to others -- including animals -- that I deeply regret. These transgressions haunt me nearly every day.

In all honesty, not a ****ing moron at all.
I think there's a very good chance that you're not one, unfortunately however based on the merits of this story it appears that you are and you're casual reply of "pfft." afterwards makes it look even worse.

If that thought bothers you at all then in the future try not to appear so blase about killing an animal for no apparent reason in a way that was pretty likely to cause it pain before it died, if it doesn't bother you then you really are a f**king moron and you don't deserve any more of my time.
