It's the quiet before the storm here inside the D.C. Beltway. With the federal government and all the schools closed for the day, the area is like a ghost town. Should be an interesting 24-hours.

I guess storm's hitting everyone around the world hard....


One of my relatives' house was wrecked by the storm Maemi, and that ain't the first time.

This Isabel is reportedly much more tougher than Maemi(Went through eastsouthern part of the peninsula), so I'll keep my fingers crossed and pray that the storm goes through quietly, and that all of you are insured.

I am located about 8 miles outside of Raleigh and there are shingles being ripped from atop my house and across the street a few trees have uprooted and fallen into the street! My power is going off and on from time to time. I can only imagine what it is like near the coast. I hope everybody is ok!
