The flaming hoop is a fall-back from Soviet style training. After the wall fell down and we started going and training with former east-block armies it was always a part of the demo or training. It always gave us a chuckle. You could count on the flaming hoop or barbwire jumping demonstration and the e-tool throwing demonstration. As for these pictures it just shows the ineptitude of the training. Fingers on triggers when not shooting, poor stances, no aiming, etc..... AMATUERS. Amateurs do kill, however, when enough bullets are launched down-range.

Al Qaeda founders were trained at first by Cia for fighting against soviet army, and once the soviets retired from Afghanistan, they created the new terrorist organization.
