I found a pic of me from the "early days". This was taken at my Barracks at Ft. Bragg, right before we were going to invade Haiti, early 90's, (Notice the high speed body Armor and posing technique) I love the green jungles! Anyway, just thought I'd share.



And this is my beloved ruck sack, before being rigged for the jump, filled to the gills with stuff for the invasion. It weighed about 80 pounds, when all said and done. It had ammo, food, grenades, claymores, socks, extra uniform, socks, ammo... :lol:

Yeah...they had to hang in there for days untill they were relieved...pretty heavy stuff.

i hear that... i was with the 82nd when we dropped into maimi ..there was bikinis and baby oil everywhere.....thats when we lost bull in a martini wading pool

Have you heard about what some of the US airbornes experienced back in WW2? Some of the guys dropped into a German swimming pool area with a whole crowd of Germans in tiny swimming pants... :( Even years later the survivors would still wake up clutching their balls and ass...

ahh yes the untold storys are always the worst.like when in nam some delta where doing a regular search and rescue when they come upon this spa treatment center...they said they could never get their face that smooth again...
