What??? Are you on crack?!?! You've got to be kidding me!
So, some little kid is going to sit down and play a video game, flying planes into the Towers and Pentagon......a real event that shattered the lives of thousands......
Some kids mother is going to say, "Come on son, dinner's ready." and the kid will respond, "Hold on Mom, I've just taken out the first tower, I'll be there when I get through with the second one."
You should be ashamed of yourself for even having such a thought! :bash:
I can just hear the cries of the men, women, and children who would be devasted by such an atrocity.
and the victims of the iraqi war and the afghan war ?

I don't think 9/11 was a "WAR" because all the victims are innocent civilians  Oh yes, some of the murdered victims are Norweigian too.
Can I play as a rapist after he raped your mom, sister and wife? That would be real cool

You're an asshead.
Here's a couple for you "Taliban Torturers" You get to set fire to women because they showed an ankle or beat the piss out of anyone you want that annoys you because you're the Taliban, Extra points if they're infidels.
"Uday's Room" You get to rape brides at their weddings and get extra points for throwing the grooms into wood chippers.
Get bent.

Who in their right mind would make a game like this?
The view of the victims, hmm lets see, working at desk...plane comes in dead, game over. Or suffocating to death, game over. Burned to death, game over. Crushed to death, game over.

It's a modification to Unreal Tournament.
You spawn on a random floor each time you restart. Three people with serious mental malfunctions think it's a great concept and are apparently working on it. Ofcause they forgot to take into account, that they'll be lynched by any decent human being.

First of all, Hi!
My first post here and I will lay my cards straight.
I am _not_ a fan of the US of A, more or less because of things like this:
Then put all the norweigian i death camps, blow them up and make a game about it rofl
Yeah right, you've done it with Somalia, Gulf War, World War 2, the Vietnam war, what's stopping you from that one? (of course I'm writing about the games...)
Sorry for making it political, but why should the world be so sorry when something terrible happens to the US? Of course it's bad and shouldn't have happenend. But one can wonder where all the victims of AIDS, HIV, Cancer, starvation etc. etc. come in all this?
Not to be rude, but everyday there's more people dying from the above things than in the 9/11 attacks...
Yeah well, just my thoughts on that matter.

Ever heard of ; "Don't shoot the messenger"?
He just asked a question here on the forum.
But I shall admit that it wasn't the smartest one to ask. Maybe Adri is at such young age that it inself could be an appologize? :D
But this "game" is actually in the news here in Norway, and maybe that is why he made that poll?
To Adri; Next time it would be vice NOT to make a poll over such a "question".
AND for the record; It was made by someone in the USA.

Games about Vietnam, WW2, etc. are interesting because they are about warfare, and honestly, who doesn't want to have the opportunity to play the part of a soldier in WW2?
On the other hand, this game about 9/11 is in simply poor taste. It's not about warfare. It's not playing the part of a heroic soldier, it's playing the part of an innocent civilian doomed to die. Do you honestly think a game should be created on this premise? It's like creating a game where you're someone put into a Nazi concentration camp and have to watch your family and friends die slowly.

You're all funny guys!
Y'know, I've been ghosting/stalking/what ever these forums for some time, never ment it really just wanted to see the pics!
But as I found the forums I always had a nice laugh!
You see, you cannot even be logical and rather than interprent a foreigners langauge for the best for it you just have to act stupid and say things like: "not sure I understand
- wonder where they come in all this? Does this mean you'd like to see Starvation/AID/HIV the video game (not just 9/11)?" // ibstolidude
What I ment was, around all the globe people die from various deseases, but you americans shouldn't spend one tear on them!
But rather they should by the gallons just because of 9/11.
Have you ever considered other peoples view of it?
Sure I feel sorry for the 9/11 victims, it was terrible!
But just as sure as that, I feel many, many dozen times more sorry for the ones in Africa and Asia and any country where people starve, pass away of deseases and war than those who died in 9/11.
Why? You'll probably ask.
-Well, we can do something about the deseases and the starvation, 9/11 is GONE hopefully for good.
Can you try to counter me with more stylish comments than "I'll be selling my SAAB"? On a sidenote, I hope you do! I don't like them at all!
Just trying to open your eyes, the world _has_ seen things more worse than 9/11.
Just think of the nuclearbombings, the US found itself pushed to do it to make their point.
Just as Bin Laden feeled pushed to make a drastic action to make his voice heard. Just wonder which was the greater crime for humanity?
Cheers! // Micke

Just want to give a perspective, everybody has to cry when the US is hurt but none has to cry for any other nation... After all, US has saved the world ey? So many times they don't have to follow the rules and books was it?

El'Potato

How come I am full of ****?
On another note, sure the US gives the largest sum to humanitarian aid.
But we take my homecountry (well, mother is Polish so country of birth would be better) we give more percentage in humanitarian aid than the US, as well as we are on the top 5 list on giving the UN in percentage.
That means we lose more money than you do, and we get around, don't we? The thing is, the US can do so much more and better but they feel no reason for it, because their allready the king here.
At least I see it in that perspective, but of course, I am biased.
I don't like the US at all. I wish I had the qoute that my good friend Saranof has, something about a US official saying the greatest crime since world war 2 being US foreign policy...
Can't agree more on that one!
To the mods here: If you feel that I venture to far out of topic, I will obey your commands! Just give me a hint and I'll quit!

If you'd like I can go through my UN work I did 2 years ago, or you can make a google search of the UN site and check it out yourself!
I'm afraid I cannot do it for you, since I'm going to bed now and going up early in the morning being away until sunday afternoon my time. That'll be your morning if I'm not mistaken.
Sure it cannot be that hard? But I hope you are aware that the US just pays the minimal sum of 0,02% of their GNP to the UN, where as Sweden payed something like 1,8% or the like, could as well have been 11,8% I'm not sure now. But rather 1,8% But that's _alot_ more than the US, and we all know the US can afford it, no?

I lived on Long Island until July this year at which point I moved. I did not personally know anyone who died in the Towers, but there were three kids in my school that lost their fathers, and a counselor that lost her husband. My uncle who lives upstate volunteered to help at Ground Zero the day after, and basically says it's not a place you would want to be.

dude...if i werent for the US, europe and the whole eastern hemisphere would be talking german...no let me re-phrase that... all aryanz, because the rest would be in camps dying. We didnt have to participate in WW1 or WW2(european theater). but we did. we all know that poland and france wouldnt be here today if we didnt. we went in somalia with good intentions, and wouldve stayed to help if gay ass clinton didnt pull us out. we couldve just watched saddam invade kuwait and murder its people. we couldve just watch the taliban murdering women. but did we? no. our grandfathers, fathers, brothers died fighting for another country's freedom... not as much as for our own. and you got people like el'potatoe and france just spitting on us americans. shame on france, shame on el' potatoe, and shame on everyone that thinks we're just big-headed, rude, selfish americans. oh yeah...not to mention us helping to rebuild europe after the war. you know what, we do deserve to be king.
....and remember, the attacks of 9/11 wasn't just an attack on america... it was an attack on the free world...
