What stuff do you regret ever letting people borrow from you? Are you the nice Ned Flanders-type who lets people borrow what-nots and half of it you never see again or are you more of the thieving Homer Simpson-type who never returns the stuff you've borrowed...

...a friend (not a close one) of mine borrowed a Wah-pedal for his guitar a few years ago for some studio work and have yet to return it even though I've asked him more than a few times to return it...in my younger days another friend borrowed some Warhammer 40k (yes, there is a little nerd deep inside of me) rulebooks. Later, when I asked to get them back he had in turn lent them to one of his friends and I never saw the books again...

...apart from that I have a number of CD's and books never returned as well...myself, I'm kind of a honest person when it come to things like these (but I admit not being perfect :) )...I've got a book about Spetznaz which doesn't belong to me and an old C64 game, "Gunship", I borrowed from someone like 15yrs ago (I doubt he wants it back now)...

A few years ago, I built a friend of mine a PC cost $400 came out of my pocket. He was short on cash and needed that PC, and I trusted him. A week later he moved out of state without giving me any notice.

Friends and money don't mix. Lesson learned. Mother****er.

I've lost countless pencils because people borrowed them and never brought them back. Nothing too big though. Also, money.

I lent a CD to a friend in high school, forgot about it for a while, then asked her about it and she totally denied it. But I remember her borrowing it bc she really loved one song on it. I also left my patagonia pullover at her house once and I saw her out wearing it. I was really sick of her using me (I had a car and she didn't, etc.), so I totally called her out and made her take it off and give it back right then and there in front of everyone. She was such a heinous bitch.

I loaned out a backpack to someone when I was still in high school and never saw it or the kid again. Only after the school year ended did I realise that my riding ribbons were in a pocket of the bag that I forgot to check. :cantbeli:
