Private Ryan had an awesome first 20 mins. The Omaha Beach scene was vivid.
I personally like the many insertion scenes in Black Hawk Down.

band of brothers HBO mini series. the drop into normandy, assault on the big guns firing on the beach, assault on carentan... the whole series is pretty darn good. an airborne point of view of the events on dday. AIRBORNE!

The first 20 minutes of saving private ryan is also the first time ive seen grown men cry in a cinema.
The movie was put together amazingly. I have a ton of respect for the crew that made that film happen... And even more respect for the soldiers that inspired the film.
I admit i was choked up at a few points in that film. It was so touching... Brought out so many emotions.
Perhaps the best films of the past decade. If not longer.

Yeah Band of Brothers was really good. I like the scene where Captain Spiers charges across the town and eventually becomes promoted to company commander.

He didn't even charge. He just ran right through German lines and ran back. What a nutcase :)
I particularly like the combat scenes in "The Last Patrol" from Band of Brothers, when the group of guys from Easy are crossing the river in Hagenau to take prisoners. It has a really "special ops" feel to it.

The first 20 minute of whatever movie with Jenna Jameson in it :D
Ya know, when she's submerged in water, her ****s become floatation devices and a loud klaxon sounds. She's got more silicon than the computer I'm typing this on.
