For some reason I don't think a bottle of bear will start a drinking binge.

It depends on the person I guess, my brother is a recovering alcoholic and he avoids all alcohol

If after 10+ years of highly public life he's still recovering I am not sure you can call it recovering.

Here these are funny too:OK you found an DWI offense that likely occurred long before you were an itch in the mailman's pants. Now post your driving record if you're old enough to have a license -- or pubes.

Well my driving record is pretty blank. I got a warning once for a 30 in a 20.
As for ruining this thread...It wasn't that funny in the first place...But George Bush does make a funny drunk:

No Aartmen, its actually clinically true, thats why they are always referred to as recovering. If they start drinking even a little bit many of them (I cant remember the numbers) fall off the wagon.
Its not an insult, just something that they have to be wary of.
(thats actual alcoholism not just being drunk for those who are gonna argue)

What do I want for the holidays? From another thread (http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/search.php?search_id=1274638422&start=112):
It is truly unfortunate how thoughtful discussions can be permitted to degenerate into personal attacks w/o so much as an admonishment from a Mod. No wonder there are so many regular posters here who openly express delight in causing the original subject of a thread to be dicarded in favor of causing anger.
Then any beneficial exchange of info/insight comes to a screeching halt. This sort of thing is tolerated far too much on this board (http://members.aol.com/intwg/trolls.htm#WIAT).
So who's the first one to make a personal attack now Mr. 'My hands are so damn clean'? ;)

I never said my hands are clean, but I have never disrupted a thread wherein a civil discussion was ongoing and transformed it into a flame war either. This thread -- which you obviously spent a lot of time looking for -- was a joke. Then pistol comes in to sour the milk and posts something from 1976. I was not the only one who took issue with it:
Live in a glass house Pistol?

Do I fascinate you? If my posts offend you so much, don't bother reading them then. Have a good life.

The point was that you were the first one with a personal attack in this thread (at least, there was none from the other direction), and yet in another thread complained about just such behaviour. Usually that makes me think of cooking equipment.
And nope, I didn't spend any time looking for it, it just struck me as... odd after just reading the other thread.

I'm not really offended... some things just catch my eye. It just strikes me that you sometimes act pretty blunt for a person who claims to come here to keep his sabres sharp. ;)
And have a good life too.
