During a winter exercise in Sweden a CV90 where driving over a frozen lake. But the ice couldn’t handle the weight of the vehicle and CV90 went through the ice :(
Luckily no one where injured :) and the vehicle is still in use today

Brrr. I remember a Finnish army BTR APC that was crossing a lake, it was supposed to float but didn't, and the blokes inside drowned. Nothing like water to make you panic. Imagine all the people who drown in their cars, even in warm and shallow waters. It takes some practise to get over the panic reaction when submersed unexpectedly. Wouldn't like to try in winter temperatures.

i hope the guys who got wet were given some Absolut vodka afterwards.

With plenty of ice.

ive fallen through ice in the winter. its terrible. and to have to walk home afterwards sucks even more.my snowsuit froze.

abut -25C in the air and -+0C in the water so its quite cold :D
you can´t see it in the picture but there is 3 AK5 rifle left in the vehicle

No, our *****es are so big that when we dive into icy waters they only shrink to "normal" size. :D

Yes :D but with another gun then the swedish CV9040 that use a Bofors 40mm automatic cannon
I think that netherland gone use a Bushmaster 25-30mm automatic cannon
in there CV90

From what I've heard (there's no official press release) the Nehterlands are going to buy CV9035 MKIII.

they are testing the CV9030CH and i think that gone buy that one and not the CV9035 MKIII but i can be wrong :D

Ok! I heard CV9035 but.. The 35/50 gun is probably the best one however the 30 mm gun is more or less NATO standard these days.

Here's btw a photo of some new CV9040C (an up-armored and somewhat modifed version) being delivered to swedish forces in Liberia.

Switzerland already bought 186 CV9030CH (Schützenpanzer 2000).

Hmm..nope that's certainly news for me. I must admit there's allmost no news here about the army testing or buying the CV90.

I did hear it some days ago that one CV90120 is down in the netherland for testing and i hope they gone buy it :-)
The CV90120 is a highly mobile main battle tank with a high pressure smoothbore 120mm gun
