Hello,
I've been checking out this website for a while now, because you had some pictures I have seen nowhere else on the web. Good job! I was wondering if you will be posting any new ones soon? I registered, mostly to ask that. I noticed quite a bit of animosity toward some of the people here. Not to say it's not warranted, but isn't giving them lots of attention just what they might want? Just my two cents. Anyway, some of the more grown up discussions are interesting. Keep up the good work. G

Finding new photos that I can use is difficult, so it updates come and go. Some of the new stuff is under the Contemporary photos section. Bunch under Navy SEALs, and I started up a Gulf War 1 gallery also. It's interesting to see what our troops looked like 12 years ago.

Hood,
I just checked out the Gulf War 1 album. Good stuff. I was in the service for that one as well (dissappointed not to be deployed) and those pictures really bring back memories. The current build up has really gotten me nostalgic about that time in our nation's history. The first Gulf conflict happend so quickly that a lot of units didn't have to be mobilized especially medical units like mine. Hopefully we can be as successful at keeping our losses down this time if we go to war. Just as before. though, I am willing to do whatever my nation demands of me. I think we should all keep the men and women who are already over there in our thoughts and prayers. What they do, they do for all of us.

Agreed. 2 of the major roles that we're playing in Afghanistan right now are mine clearing and providing medical care where there's none present. So far I haven't received any submissions from people doing the medical part. Maybe they're busy helping people instead of taking pictures. :) Another excellent Gulf War 1 photo album is

He's got personal photos from 3 soldiers who were there. They paint a better picture of the enormous scope of the operation than the ones that were available for this site.
