Believe it or not--Open source, so no OPSEC issue
A combination of SMUs (Delta & DG) and intelligence gatherers (CIA & ISA), for some number of months, has been instigating or antagonizing terrorists worldwide into the open. This group is called the Proactive, Preemptive Operations Group. The lastest scuttlebutt is that this group has done something amazing. The P2OG synthesized the last UBL tape, then sent it off to Al-Jezeera. The purpose was two-fold. The first was to expose and then either destroy or continue to surveil sleeper cells and/or suspected ones by their reaction. The second was to incite into action cells previously undectected cells. All the while the SMUs waited. This is a classic hunted to the hounds scenario. How could the P2OG do this? Some say that UBL is either dead or captured and Al-Qaeda would never denounce the tape as a fraud. Lest they expose themselves to the SMUs or more importantly concede the incapacitation of their leader.
Also, the P2OG had to do with Khalid Sheik Mohammed delayed announced arrest...

If all that is true, it is about friggin' time we have taken the damned leash off of our dogs of war and let them hunt. We have the best trained, best equipped, most highly motivated special operations forces in the world and back them up with the most sophisticated intelligence apparatus in the world. You want to fight terrorists, you're going to have to get your hands dirty. 'Bout time.

Jijo, you are sooo right. Ive been telling people for ages that in order to fight these bastards we need to do not what is simply comfortable, but what is NECESSARY. I think that we must in a sense, match them in ruthlessness.

When Stansfield Turner became the DCI he handcuffed the CIA's HUMINT capabilities, getting rid of a ton of case officers, choosing instead to rely on SIGINT and ELINT and only now, more then twenty years later is the Agency regaining it's 'eyes on' capabilities.

One of the main stated aim of PPOG is to "stimulating reactions" from terrorist groups and states - that is to say their role is to provoke/manufacture terrorist attacks (which will kill innocent people of course) - thus exposing the terrorists/terrorist cells or state forces to enable "quick-reponce" attacks by US forces - think about that one for a while...

There are three CQB related courses run at Bragg. All are put on by company D of the 2nd Battalion of the 1st Special Warfare Training Group.
They are:
1)Special Operations Training course
2)Special Forces Advance Reconnaissance, Target Analysis, and Exploitation Techniques course
3)Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat course
The contemporary photos gallery has some pictures from these courses I believe.
war...the course is called Special Forces Reconaissance Target Analysis and Exploitation Techniques Course. I dont care what anyone or what website says what its open to qualified personnel from every branch. In the past Marines sent Force Recon through the course. Its two months long teaching techniques, such as demo, breaching and countersniping. The course stresses room to room to block to block combat. Its an adapted course at JFK from a previous one, Gen. Boykin improved this course after Mogadishu.
This sounds like it's part of the same group...

Special operators from the 4th Psychological Operations Group (POG) and the U.S. Air Force's 193rd Special Operations Wing (SOW) broadcast television and radio programming that allows the U.S. to communicate directly to the Iraqi people.

P2OG has very little or nothing to do with 4th POG. Very different missions.
