Is that helmets cut off for headphones/communications gear?

Do they make two different versions of the M240 for feeding through differents sides?

Despite my mate being w**kerd and arsey with the belgian cop (demanding to know where the 'Monkey Hotel' was?!) he still wasn't arrested. Instead, the police actually worked out where his hotel was and gave him a lift!
