The airsoft ones are similar to the AEGs in stock trim, but like anything they can be upgraded from mild to wild....what in particular are you looking for?

good luck with the paintball gun.
basically when it comes to sniper rifles your out of luck because as far as i'm concerned you can only really choose accuracy or range, not both:
accuracy: longer more finely tuned barrels; they'll shoot somewhat farther, but that just means you have a nastier arc, you'll still have to aim high and you'll still have the ball drop at the end of its run.
range: tippmann flatlines, these barrels put a backspin on your ball and by doing so increase your range, and gives the ball a flat trajectory, instead of an arc. problem is, at the far end of it's run the ball tends to slow down a lot, either not breaking on the target, or becomming very inaccurate at long ranges.
Sniping in paintball does not exist. 150ft, with 10ft groupings cannot help that either, and it's a common fantasy. Only basic grunts in paintball ;)

not entirely, like there are extended range weapons, like dragnovs (ie tippmanns with flatlines) but yeah, nothing is gonna get close to real sniping.

No,. no no no no no no no no no no no. The arc is not eliminated, there is no flat trajectory. And no, it does not slow down so much as to not break at 150'. It will bounce no more if you were shooting at a taget 50' away. Paintball is a good sport. Airsoft is a good sport. Don't like paying the price for paintballs? Well, you're in luck. The corn oil used to produce the fill is what is causing the high prices, but some of the manufacturers are having success using a synthetic oil, which is going to bring the price way down.
