I have 19'' monitor an 1600x1200 of screeen resolution so rescaling would not look so good
PS. I sad that those pic are great, but I think that "great" isn't good world to
describe those pics, esspecialy that there are dead/dying people on them so
they are very good, talented and touching photos.

Just work deviation.

How cames this photo on your webpage? This is a photo from Ben Ballad, made on 04. april 2003! Who is "Woodland"???
I must tell this my friend Ben. I know, that every man in the company of Ben made many photos, and he exchange photos with the other soldiers, i have many other here... maybe this "Woodland" its a friend from Ben, a soldier (?)... One question: when you made this photo on your page?
A nother thing is, you see the photos from my friend Ben on my page, so many, the same style! So, it's unpossible, this photo is not from the series from my friend! Ask "Woodland" please, from where he had this Photo!!!!
Sorry, when my english is not so good, i'm a german man...
and I just found a few more that were from yahoo etc during the war. the one with the explosion going in all directions.. and the bradley firing to the right of the picture. those weren't labeled as D.o.D. released pictures, but from commercial sources... ideas?
Woodland is an annoying person, so don't mind his comments on there. That's not an official caption. I had posted that photo in on April 12th 2003.

Yeah, the Bradley firing right is shot by a well-known war photographer, it was used on the frontpage of the (flash-)site that showed the best pics from a lot of the war photographers...

Woodland is an annoying person
I don't know Hood I thought Woodland was a funny guy, sure he did comment stupid things and yes MOST of the time he was a jackass, he was just being woodland.
when i had to delete over 150 comments on his that were filled with obscenities and profanities, all over all of the galleries, that's not a nice or good person in my book. he made sure to mark up almost every gallery that I had.. it took hours to get rid of it all, and I'm sure i didn't get everything.

I don't beleave this everything (!!!): I am obvious to a swindle impose here, because as I see, my friend Ben the photos themselves did not make. I must clarify that with him seriously! :bash:
My side with the photos is so long off-line.
All this is extremely embarrassing for me! Sorry to everybody, I was good faith in confidence on Ben!
But i wan't know, from where Ben have the Orginal-Photos in so beautiful quality and so great (2464x1648 pix)!
Maybe my page with the photos go again online without copyright or with the correct copyright, what says your...
SORRY AGAIN TO EVERYBODY, E X C U S E !!!
well, a lot of people have access to those cd-roms of high quality photos which he obviously did. the photographer may have given him a copy since the photographer was embedded with his unit. we'd all of course like to see more of them, so whatever you choose to do is fine by us regardless.

"....he was just being woodland". Funny how that seems to be a valid excuse for some these days. The whole "yeah, he is a jerk, but thats just the way he is" mentality. He is to be commended on such cheaply bought immunity to manners and rules... Just because someone "is" a certain way doesn't make it excusable.
If you beat someones head into the pavement can it be said, "oh, he just has a bad temper, thats just the way he is"? Give me a freakin break... He was an ass and now hes' gone. It is called cause and effect, actions and consequences... you know, pretty elementary stuff. Thanks Hood for getting ride of one of the stains on this site.

My side with the photos is so long off-line.
So! My page with the Iraq-war-photos is renewed and again online, with 40 photos more, now 108 photos, and altogether about 9 megabyt.
A second part will follow...
The photos made not my friend Ben, the GI, but the professional David Leeson made, a reporter photographer. He left a copy of this photos to my friend Ben. Ben did this photos with own digital photos and photos, which made other soldiers, on a CD. A copy of this CD gave me Ben.
Ben says now, I have misunderstood him, because this files with the appropriate photos, up to which have the name from the other soldiers, were not from him, all other yes.
But, that's cannot be correct however, because my side with the photos saw Ben and he saw the copyright in the photos with his name - Ben himself wrote the exact name of his company in the US-Army on my side - before the side and the photos goes online.
I am thus a swindle impose here in the good believe in Ben!
Sorry again at all!
Now the photos WITHOUT indication of copyright, because Leeson did not copyrights on his own homepage, where also he some of these photos have (but smaller).
Thank you all!
Sorry for my uncorrectly english!
