i heard that the iraqies had some kinda special forces controlled directly by saddam and his sons. 15000 men i think specialised in city fighting and they are all in baghdad.
but then again thats just what i heard i havent checked that out

If my memory serves me right the Iraqi Special Forces Brigade within the Republican Guard is nicknamed the 'Green Berets'.

It's my understanding that the Republican Guard are basically the SS,fanatics and such.They are a threat simply because they will hold for as long as they can.My other understanding is that the "regula" army is formed of "volunteers" who are there because press-gangs made an appearance in their village.

i think personally think that the iraq fight will be tuff, but im more worried about the home front were we are vulnerable
