Hi folks.

Just looking thru the SEAL Gallery i`ve found a unkown part of gear.
Maybe somebody can help me and actually know the exact specification with a little description of this item.

I mean the additional kind of belt over the black fastex. Its seems to be worn under the carrier Harness, but which purpose does ist serve?

First i thought i could be a part of the rappel gear but the issued rappel harness looks much different.

Thanks, Oxymoron

I think it's a pistol belt pad that attaches to the belt.

There's probably several different kinds, but you get the idea.

You can pick one up for about $10-20 US

if you want to use the LC2/ALICE belt suspender setup, then this would be a wise investment as it softens the apparent loading. Israeli EPHOD A10/11 harnesses have permanently attached padding that serve the exact same purpose.

I think it could be one of Blackhawk's belts. Maybe one of the padded belts seeing they've got the BHI gear going there.
