Is that a Glock 17 in the holster? And I thought the German armies official SMg was the UZI? Unless this guy is special forces?

No, this ain't a Glock. It's the standard issue sidearm of the Bundeswehr, the Heckler & Koch USP (called P8 in Bundeswehr-service).

These aren't special forces but regular Military-Police; they have the MP5k for close-protection-missions.

Hm, I'm not quite sure now. Didn't take a look at the photo before. I don't think our MP's use Glocks, but I think they have P7's too...

Cause this pic is from June 1999; in June 1999 the first vests made by Mehler-Vario were delivered in Flecktarn; before that, german-produced Bristol-vests were used.
