yes but one from HV-016 is new and all from MJK....

YEah , those pics are awesome , you dont have anymore pics on Norwegian troops and their equipment .. Im working on a small computer projekt right know that involves the Norwegian Army and I would be glad if you or someone else here have got pictures of norrwegian troops,jeeps,MBT´s etc ..... =)

Hehe .. Ive used both google and altavista to many times , but its really hard to find info about the Norwegian army , The easy info is as allways MBT Leo2a4 and Leo1 , Selfporpelled arty M109 and Phz2k etc .. but when it comes to jeeps , trucks .. ordinary things then im stuck .. =) ....

Damn , more great looking pics .. Have the Navy SF adopted the C8 now and what has happened with the HKG36Kv ... ?! Is it in use by the KJK or ?! and that SuperCobra is it a US marked gunship or norwegian .. ?!

I am american but my everyone in my family was born in norway but me, so I really would like to learn about them, umm yeh, thanks in advanced.

Cool. I saw the screenshots on your site, looks f*cking awesome, man. :D Unfortunately I dont have BF1942. :(
I mod Operation Flashpoint/Resistance. I dont actually work for any mod, I just go around helping some mates in different mods if they need it. Texturing mostly, and also weapons advisor.
Nice to see some scandinavian stuff, yeh, I'm a huge fan of Scandinavian militaries and I've got Swedish parents and lived in Sweden for 14 years so I guess that has a bit to do with it. :)

the SF has adopted the C8 as their standard assult rifle. The super cobra is american, as americans have their winter training i Norway. Theese units was deployed and specificelly asked for by American DOD for afghanistan because of their artic warfare skills. They had more days out on missions than all of the other SF coalition forces and more missons in the AO. As well as they where the only units that didn't have operators dehydrating and needed to be evacueted. This ment each operator often carried 70liter water each! On top of all the other gear, this ment going out laden with excess of over 100kilo gear per operator.

Do you or anyone else know wich typ of handgrenades and smokegrenades your forces use .. Ohh ,yeah it would be great with pictures on your bulletproof vests ... =)

This picture is NOT Hærens Jegerkommando (HJK). A black beret indicates personell attatched to the cavalry. Most likley these are members of the cavalrys recon platoon, Fjernoppklaringseskadronen, or one of the armoured infantry platoons, Stormeskadronen.
One thing's for sure... They're not HJK!
Oh, and those C8's are not ordinary C8 rifles. They are C8 SFWs (Special Forces Weapon). Very expensive, but very accurate rifles, they are delivered with a RIS as standard. The SFW has also been adopted by the british SAS.

Informed sources tells me this picture is of HMKG, wich in english would translate to something like "His Majesty the Kings Gurads". This is a regular light infantry unit assigned with protecting the royal family in the event of war. Their specialty is urban warfare. The unit is a regular army unit with conscript soldiers, based at Huseby in the middle of Oslo. These are the very same soldiers you can see in their parade uniforms with bayonets attatched guarding the royal palace.

Thanks. And yes, I drew almost all of the textures you see in the pics. About 20% of it are photosourced though.

Thanks, man. The reason they might look a bit photoish could be cause OFP textures has to be in .JPGs and .JPGs does that to images.
And well, I really dont have much time nowadays, but sure I'd like to help out aslong as its nothing big. :)
