It was once suggested on another forum that those were prehaps NV Binos, and that there is a small hole in those "caps".

Has anyone ever handed you a pair of binos or a scope? Did you ever look through them for a second and realize the caps were on? Well with the media constantly trying to find pictures of Bush doing silly things, it's easily conceivable that someone taking photos of this event captured this split second image. I probably didn't need to spell it out like this but some of you seemed fascinated with this photo.

Yes, I have. My father's done it with a camera and he's a professional photographer. These pics are just jokes, to get a laugh, they aren't meant to make anyone look like an idiot.
The first one:
Yes, he probably took off the caps right after that pic was taken.
The Second one:
Obviously photoshopped.
Just relax guys, no one is making fun of Bush, it's just a joke, don't take things so seriously, especially in a section called offtopic and Humor.

Lol, yes, people do tend to over analize things like this, don't they. For me, it doesn't really matter if it was meant as an insult or a joke, it's still funny. :lol:
Quite frankly, US politics has always been a little hurmourous/confusing for me. :lol:

Second picture was during 9/11, while he was in the classroom reading to kids. Hes not posting "funny pics" hes insinuating that Bush is a retard.

Like mentioned, the bottom pic was taken during 9/11. What if he had just found out that what he will do now will echo in eternity and send soldiers to their deaths? And the left wing tries to make fun of him because in a moment such as that he is holding a BOOK UPSIDE DOWN?

That and the protective caps for NV-eqipment often have holes in them so that they can be used daytime. Why? so that you can se if they work.

Hey guys, new or old there is always someone somewhere who hasn't seen or heard soemthing you have.
They're just poking fun so take it light-heartedly.
Remember if you get angry at someone poking fun at you, they've won the round. It's far better to respond in kind with something more humorous and let them lose their cool.
