What if...

Years from now, say we are still fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, with weakened power, and moral, what would happen if Iran and Syria invaded Iraq, while Pakistan invaded Afghanistan? Just curious what you guys think of the possabilitys. Maybe a strategic pull-back, followed by massive air and sea bombardment followed by strategic troop movements?

Well I think this thread will probly get shot down any moment...but my response:

The US will be reshaping the military for years to come (IMO) and I think the American people will come around at some point and realize terroriism must be stopped. With that, the wars can be won. Gotta have support.

Well:

India would attack Pakistan because of it's new found weakness.

Most of the Afghans would rise up just like they did against the Russians! i said most mind you!

Israel would most probably jojn the fray and Russia would be forced to do something

Britain and most of NATO would be on our side.

Iran's underground revolutionarys would rise up as they have wanted to for a decade and make it next to impossible for Iran to stay in the fight!

We would bomb Syrian to oblivian quickly taking their advantage.

And most Iraqis would fight not only us but the Iranians!

It would be a big friggin mess but I think it might cleanse the Gene pool a little over there!
