i just browsed Isayeret and noticed 2 very cool pics of the S13

can some one expline me whats those uniforms ?
i never saw it before in any idf unit nor in SF units around the world.

A somewhat circuitous route to the photos:
Go to google, type in
shayetet 13 gallery 3
and hit "I'm feeling Lucky."

The photos are the second and third on the resulting page.

These are rock-camouflage assault suits. used only by S13, they have extra padded knees, elbows, and lower pants to reduce wear & tear while climbing shore rocks (notorious for their sharp edges).

These pics were published in one of israel's newspapers, following a rarely-publicised successful S13 operation. alsom note mini-uzi with flashlights.
