its friggin ten minutes and 650mb then it's not compressed. If you use a program like VirtualDub [download] (http://www.virtualdub.org/download) to compress it to divx then it will be like 50mb max

The video is a little messed up, it's too jerky and of poor quality.

It appears that it was captured using Fraps while playing the DVD.

Fraps was not designed for that - used more for game capturing.

You can convert VOBs on the DVD directly to AVI using free tools - that would've been the correct thing to do.

That's why the video is of poor quality, jerky, and large.

First off, thanks for all the effort getting this posted and hosted. Very good video. However, the quality is a but distracting. If it wer epossible to get a version that was compressed with better clarity it would be greatly appreciated, but no hurry.

As for comments, wow. the guy in the shack definitely got torn up. I was really suprised to see how much medical attention and care the two wounded were given, it gives me a lot more respect for our Marines (and I already had plenty).

It was awesome seeing how everyone worked together; sniper and spotter on the roof scanning for others, soldiers on the ground, and HMMWV rushing in to provide support and cover from the ammo cooking off in the bus.

I have a question also, what exactly is the motivation for giving so much medical attention to, and keeping the wounded attackers alive? I'm definitely not saying they shoulda just killed them on the ground, please don't take my question like that. But I'm honestly curious, are they keeping them alive so they can be interogated for intelligence, is it just for public relations, is it part of something like the Geneva Convention, or a combination of the above? I can understand how easy it would be to treat thsoe that just tried to kill you with indifference or malevolence, that's why I respect our troops for doing the exact opposite.

Your exactly correct. As you noticed the survivors are already like shouting "we surrender". As a pro soldier you should ceasefire and treat the wounded, enemy or not. Also, showing these ppl this kind of treatment would be benificial for Information Extraction.

The guys looked like they were all wearing uniforms. The first guy who got out of the bus was carrying a pistol, he dropped it by the front right hand wheel and it is shown later on in the video.

I found it very interesting to watch the way the Marines worked. It was also quite interesting that two of the enemy only sustained lower wounds with none to the torso or above, after seeing the amount of fire that was directed at them then they seem to have been quite lucky.

This video is important cause it shows consequences for actions. All the fallujah vids I have seen have ben sliced and diced so you only see marines shooting 1 way. I want to make it clear I formed no Judgements one way or another, wether it was right or wrong legal or illegal is not my concern here, This video shows most likely what servicemen in Iraq whitnes daily, and even that statement is unfair cause they see a hell of alot more then that.

I have the same prob. too. So I tried looking around for a codec and couldn't find any. Try it instead with Real Player, odds are it won't work initially, but at least with mine it automatically looked for a codec to play it and once you download it for free you can view the vid. with Real Player instead. It's not too bad. Hope this helps. :D

A group of people in a bus probably tried to surender or were just driving down the road and a whole bunch of marines opened fire on them. They hit the tank of the bus so it started burning when it stoped an iraqi soldier and two civilians (he was only wearing a uniform but nothing else) tried to get out of the bus but the marines opened fire again. Killing the iraqi soldier. but only wounding the civilians. Then they applied first aid to the wounded civies and took em away. They left the shoot iraqi where he was in a pool of blood.
