yeah, after i heard that there was an orgy scene in the movie, i decided that i'm not going to watch any of the other matrices.
orgy scene? club dancing yeah, i dont remember a hard orgee...... hmmm some people were making out.... see through gei clothes......
then again kanu's ass shot was a theater killer.
decent 2nd movie, fights got boring after 5 ten fifteen minutes a piece, seemed like the tempo was a bit off, massive llong fights puncuated by short jam packed talk sequences with piles of cyber talk, poor non scifi bastards were lost as hell. cool effects though the 3d was, eh, in some seens like kanu flying around. decent all in all but the 3rd better please like the 1st so the whole trilogy wont suck.
now kill bill, that was a freaky kool movie.
non-zero possibility

Hey a chick in leather on a 996, the rest of the movie could've sucked.

I didn't like the second one as much as the first as a whole. There were some aweome parts, like the chase scene; weaving through trailer undercarriage, and one of those freaky twins firing an UMP. I think that is one of the best chase scenes in Hollywood history, rivaling Ronin, the original Gone in Sixty Seconds, Bullitt, and possibly The French Connection.
But I think the trilogy is heading too much into a Star Wars direction, with Morpheus' big speech, and the "orgy". The first one was good for its tight knit into the modern world, and its relatively low number of characters. I didn't like how in the second one they changed the ship, and added all the other characters like Halle Berry (I know, I know) and the Chinese guy. I think they should've saved all of the Zion scenes for the third one. Seems like there was some stuff left out inbetween the two, like how they actually got there.
As said, the fight scenes were kinda ridiculous. Cool, but only for the first few minutes. I kinda lost interest when Smith morphed. Then morphed again. Then morphed again. And again, and again. Got kinda boring.

Two things. Well, I guess three.
First, I enjoyed MR... I thought it was a pretty good (and entertaining, which is the point) movie.
Second, I have to agree with Eagle about the fight scene with Neo and all the Smiths... I couldn't help laughing, it got a bit cartoonish after a while. But it was definitely fun to watch.
Third, while I was a bit uncomfortable actually watching the "orgy" scene, I liked how it fit into the theme of the movie. All the flesh and sweat and dancing and rhythm... very human, very organic... things the machines don't have. It makes that point rather strongly, shows what they're fighting for. It may have been a little longer than necessary, but I don't think it's gratuitous in the context of the story.

Ya that Morpheus speach was very much reminded me of Mosses.
The Matrix has a very religous aspect in it.

Not a bad movie. Not bad at all!

Did you really have to dig up a 1,5 year old thread for that?
