For those of you who support the war, why do you support it?

I don't think we should have gone in the first place, but now that's a moot point. I support the war effort now because I want us to win and bring our young men and women back home.

Yes, I support Pres. Bush's foreign policy and OIF then and now :)

I said other because my reasons are purely that Saddam refused to abide by the ceasefire requirements (therefore this is merely a continuation of the original actions just as Clintons missile strikes were a continuation)and he and his spawn were simply frickin brutal and insane
I didnt support the war for the reasons that were given beforehand. But i do agree that liberating the iraqis was a good thing. I hope that this continues and other countries in similar situations are liberated, such as chechnya, north korea, burma, zimbabwe etc

When you think about it, why would anyone support any war?
I support it because my country and its leaders, after a lot of public debate, decided that it was in my country's interest to fight it. I am of the camp that believes that these type of decisions should be vigorously debated by all, and then, once made, vigorously supported by all, no matter what side you were on during the debate.
It is not fair to send our servicemen into battle with anything less than our full and unwavering support for the mission we have asked them to do.

Why auzzie? You think countries like North Korea and Chechnya be left alone? To their criminal leadership, and in case of north korea, pretty much starving their people and blaming it on somone else? Countries like that are the true oppressors..
