Theres a long overdue backlash against the cnuts, the Irish times is available online as a subscription service only.
Basically most people whod started to accept the line that Sinn Fein was just a socialist politcal party have had a wake up call.
A lot of people think thats it for the peace process, everyone thinks we're ****ed for this year.
The two cop killers from the Gerry McCabe case have lost their leverage for early release and the gag has been taken off the minister for justice who whatever his other flaws is a vociferous anti-terrorist.

If you do get the IT online check out Kevin Myers Editorial from yesterday.

I sincerely hope its not the end of the peace process for this year - must have a look at that article.

Wouldn't suprise me if it was the IRA, they have always been into organized crime independant of any 'armed struggle'. Anyone who thinks they will decide to stop the drug dealing, protection rackets, prostitution, punishment beatings etc because of any peace process are fooling themselves.

The same applys for the protestant terrorists as well.

Some IRA members were former French foreign legion soldiers. So i can imagine they know their stuff. Not to say that they actually did it.

nah there argueing about it . They don't want to publicly get rid of there weapons as that means they have lost.
although everyone accepts if they handed over all there weapons they could be back in business within 24 hours or less.
sein Fienn has built probably the most professional terrorist outfit in the world. Nobody has figured out what to do with the "unemployed" gunmen Gerry and his pals get well paid goverment jobs and the provos "grunts" get shafted. This does'nt make for a tidy ending.
mind you could do with an asu nutting squad around hear for a weekend to deal with some of the chavs who vandalised my car.:)

the IRA will never fully disarm because noone is going to make them do it these days for fear of making them angry and returning to their old ways, there will always be a section of PIRA that will never change, so for that reason sinn fein and the IRA should have stfu written on their fore heads as far as the peace process and democracy goes, theyre all criminals terrorists and thugs, nuff said. I wish our army and SAS was as aggressive against them as they used to be.

The unionists have cooperated much better with us than Sinn fein ever will, they breathe lies :(

trouble is nobody wants the Ira letting bombs off everywhere and killing squaddies.
but nobody wants them as criminals either.
They have lost but what do we do now

Its a little bit ironic that September 11 actually did a lot of good in Northern Ireland - it made the terrorist groups there become very quite indeed and appear to maintain the ceasefire. The last thing they wanted was to be tar'd with the 'war on terror' brush.

we now have a major organised crime problem better than terrorism but only just

Who says its different, the peace process works for them because they were being gradually worn down, doesnt mean they believe in peace on anyones terms but theirs.
