great photos... i'll have to 'aquire' a few... it's always exciting to see new ones that I haven't seen anywhere else. I'm just curious where they got them. I've really scoured the net for everything... I feel there's a secret cache somewhere that I haven't found. :) Thanks for the tip.

well, I dug a little deeper to see the sources of some of his hi-res pictures, and most of them are from ******* and ***** images. Both are business-to-business only services that won't deal with private individuals at all... So I couldn't get their photos even if I paid for them. Apparently that site op has an in, or works for a news agency and has access to such things.

I know you already know this, but why don't you just save those images then put them on the website, maybe the owners of the site wouldn't care if you "borrowed" some of the pics since you guys are just doing the same thing, or maybe he wouldn't know since you have a lot of the same other pics. :wink:

I intend to do that for the few that I don't have, but I'm always looking for new sources for this stuff. Particularly now that things aren't as heated in Afghanistan, there aren't many pictures coming out. I'd love to get my hands on more Operation Anaconda, or images from the Shah e Kot valley battle, but such things are probably censored by the military and not allowed out. Bah...
