That’s an interesting article, this doesn’t relate to the story but aesthetically speaking the Brit helmet looks damn dorky.
Lets get them boys something abit more macho and move away from the egg on head look. ;)
Now before I get flamed from my good British friends I do realize that at the end of the day looks mean jack ****. :D

this is the oldest story in the world; the MICH helmet has been issued since years ago first to the SOF units like SF/Rangers and secondary to priority airborne units like 101st/82nd etc.
you can buy it here: http://www.lightfighter.com/item.html?PRID=1109960
as you can see it was made 3 years ago; tahts like saying hey looky guys M4 SOPMOD has just been released!

I'll stick with my para helmet (or Mk VI) thanks very much - it's about half the weight and twice as comfortable as the 'Fritz'.

Your powers of observation astound me. First of all, I'm not a dude. Second, there are dolphins on the front. Have a nice day.

Marines have ordered a bunch of new lighter weight helmets, 1/2 lb lighter however it is more comfortable and adds more protection although it's not the MICH, because the "Marines felt it doesnt protect them as much." which is true since its smaller

Anyway, thank you for buying such large quantities of the French made MICH helmet, made by the Gallet Company in France. Oh, please, put some Bollé goggles on top and use Thomson Sophie thermal sights like the Marine Recon for the ultimate experience in French technology.... :D

US Military-issue MICH helmets aren't made by Gallet.

That article contradicts it own headline in the first paragraph.
