I mean no disresect to the fallen US soldiers, but why on earth do these posts consistantly appear reminding everyone of the casualties of war?
They are getting repeated so often that it lessens the impact of these casualties,I also don't think its neccesary to try and make some kind of statement regarding who suffered the most in the way of fatalities.
Many here seem to forget that these brave souls were also doing a job, that put their lives in harms way,and in a state of war casualties are inevitable........but so do the countless Law enforcement officers, who also die in the line of duty, and a hell of a lot more of them have been killed in the line of duty........and they deserve as much respect as the Military casualties.

There will be scores more to add to your list TF before the war on terror will ever be won,if that is at all possible,I admire your sentiment, but I don't think having a widows anguish spread across the internet helps at all.

We all know that. The War on Terror will never end, but it is a war that we must fight. Outside of the users of this site, you must remember that many don't know who these men are or what even happened besides a lot of fighting. I, personally, like to print these and post them on my wall for people who I have over , to view.

but so do the countless Law enforcement officers

Law enforcement guys do put their lives in harm's way, but it's not the same as the military. Most of the cops in my town just direct traffic during school and occasionally pull over a speeder. In those rare occasions, they may be put in a situation where they can be hurt or killed. The military, especially those that work on the edge of our spear, are exposed to it 24/7. These men made a choice to be the best and to serve with the best to perform missions no one else can or wants to do. That is what makes it impossible to just forget about our fallen warriors.

Maybe someone should open a policephotos.net forum for the law enforcement officials killed.

according to the book "the hunt for bin laden" by robin moore, the "Unidentified injured Army Special Forces soldiers" were Ronnie Raikes, Mike McIlhiney, and "sergeant Yo****a". they were brought to the funeral from th walter reed army hospital, where they undertake rehabilitation. the women behind them are actually nurses from the hospital.

Why don't you post all the other soldiers killed in the War on Terror, not just the SF?

I posted the names of the 160th SOAR, Navy, AF, and Ranger Regiment as well.

If you mean like regular units like the 101st Airborne and 10th Mountain, I apologize, I am a busy student...

You missed quite a few men that were killed...

Hood, I remember way-back-when, didn't you have a list on the site of all the men and women killed during OEF, the date they were killed, and their unit? At least that's what I remember, anyway.
