hello everybody,
I have a video card question andI figure some of you guys have to be armchair commandos p-) , right now in my computer i have an msi gf4 ti4400 from back in the day when they just came out. I think it's still working pretty good, for all the new games that have come out since, although I do worry if its going to be able to handle ghost recon 2, battlfield 2, CC first to fight, and splinter cell 3. However I just bought (online) a geforce 6600gt AGP for a steal I thought at 187.00 it was 25% off. I was just wondering you guys' opinions. Was that a smart buy, I mean will there actually be an appreciable difference in the performance of the 2 cards???
Just some other relevant info.
Soyo dragon 400 platinum
amdxp 2400
768mb ram ddr 333(i think thats right)
OHHHH yea...since im here, will upgrading my processor to amd 64 3200 really see a difference in performance since both my cpu and that one are both clocked at 2ghz(yea i know i have to upgrade motherboard)?
