Anyone have pics of bearded US Special Forces guys?

Hello everyone, newbie here in need of some photo ref. I'm looking for a picture of a bearded US Special Forces guy, he may be part of the ODA 574 unit. I've seen him, just cant remember where. It may have been in the Discovery Channel "Hunting Taliban" show. Its not Bones, I'm not sure what his name is. Any help would be appriciated. Or heck just post any SF bearded guy here...

I've seen some SF soldiers who look almost exactly like an Afghan man. If he didn't have the US gear, he would've looked like any other northern alliance soldier!

As for SF in Iraq.. I don't think the whole beard thing is huge over there.

Deuterium could probably best explain it to you, but I'll give it a shot. From the pics i've seen, SF in Iraq dress in US military rather than local garb, and wear kevlar and helmets. I don't think they change their hair color.

IIRC, It is because in Afghan . People traditionally only see you as a full man if you wear a full-beard. Most likely makes communication and dealing with locals easier, if you are considered by them as equal .

Don't know whether it's true or not. I read it somewhere that the beard is used to protect the guys from sunburn around the mouth.

Its a sign of man-hood. It helps with the whole hearts&minds deal.

I've seen some shockers on SASR blokes - some cant even grow beards, others have enough hair for 4 of them.

which raises another question. have they been pulling sf guys out of retirement states side? coz from some of the pics i have seen..some of the guys in afghanistan and iraq were looking rather grey and old, and before u start hollering. i am sure they are doing a great job eitherway, just curious if they have been though.
