Hood,
I thought it would be a great idea if you would stuff all of your website photos into a few convenient zip files for easy download. i hate downloading each one individually.

You do know that you can just rip ALL the pictures off the website using certain programs, right?
Try this for example: http://www.metaproducts.com/mp/mpProducts_Detail.asp?id=1

that costs MONEY! thanks, anyway. i thought it would be really easy for hood. just take his web directory and zip it. zip it good.
Sure, if you pay me a few hundred bucks for the severely expanded bandwidth that would take up. :) The very first version of this site that virtualpender had, was most of the pictures all on one page, which would be the same as putting it all in a big zip. His ISP booted him because it used so much bandwidth. I took it in and completely redid it to the relatively much lower bandwidth version that it is now. If I had the zip version of the whole thing back up, everyone would grab it all the time and my bandwidth bill would go through the roof. As it is, various people try to grab everything with those apps at times and I permenantly ban their subnet from the site. Them's the breaks.
maybe u cud try sending the whole collection to fileplanet or something?
