That's downright f***ing annoying! those buildings were NOT appartment buildings whato so ever - the construction work was'nt even finished all the way! obviously, those assholes bring a bunch of kids to pose for the camera and then cry to the whole world how "cruel and unhuman" the israelis are...

to make things clear: those buldings were PA office buildings. after the construction works stopped, they were abandoned. since then, they were used over and over again for observations on army movement. the attack on netzarim base was based on intel gathered from those building. end of story.

Those platforms on the roof are for water tanks never installed and have the potential for an abundant gavitational feed water supply. These buildings appear capable of housing many people, but sadly they are in the line of fire between extremist ideologies.

The demolished buildings had been part of a project to relieve overcrowding in nearby Gaza City. But Palestinian officials said people had never moved in because of constant Israeli gunfire and tank shelling in the area. It seems that they're firing on Tikrit itself. Or i'm wrong?

They are firing a mortar in supressive action from a Tikriti position against insurgents and their paths of travel, not against the city itself. They recieve coordinates for targeting from various front line sources.

No indiscriminate destruction of Tikriti infrastructure here. Sorry.

 I understand they do it for some purpose. Not for their own entertainment. ;) But does this mean that some action which requires artilley support is going on in the city or near at the moment pic was taken?
