It was a great show, and everyone got to see the B-1B and B-2 as well as F/A-22 in rare form (low altitude 400 feet at low speeds). There was a demo with an F-16 and F-15 followed by the F/A-22 which seemed to have the greatest speed and power as well as maneuverability. The thing took off like a bat out of hell. I believe the 20 or so F/A-22's out there are tested with 16's in canyon settings before being shipped out. They literally own the skies.
The B-1B set 52 world records that day, flying supersonic throughout the base achieving speed and targeting records, as well as dropping 82 seperate inert bombs at a time.
The show culminated with a parade of aircraft that landed and proceeded to come across the tarmac. Unfortunately, the B-1B, F-117, and B-2 returned to their test hangars right away :roll: I can imagine why not; and there were armed guards combing the crowds before hand.
