Has anyone seen the recent beheading / Execution videos that have been done in public in the streets of Ramadi Iraq? Its totally absurd that this is done in plain view. For those of you whom have not seen these. Two people were beheaded on a street corner and another was shot it the back in broad daylight as people and cars drove by.

I haven't viewed any of those execution videos I just can't bring myself to watch that stuff it's not that I have a weak stomack it's just to brutal inhumane. An eye for an eye.. those terrorist scum deserve to go out the same way. :fork:

I know it's curosity...I only saw like 3 seconds of the one showing Chechen terrorist sticking that knife slowly into the Russian soldiers throat and I was just completely horrified. I heard that one of the worst to watch is the video from Iraq of 12 workers from Nepal being slaughtered.

Well, you are not morbid if you watch these videos. I happened to watch some of those videos which always makes me sick, but don't want to close my eyes for the things that can happen to people.

regarding the nepalese beheading:
It is very ugly, because one Nepalese gets his throat slit but not totally cut off and you can hear him breath through the open tube which sounds really strange. And you know he is still alive which is quite horrifying as his walk to death lasts long.

Watching these videos makes you realize what you're dealing with. The Pacifists/Hippies would have you believe that all you gotta do is love. But once you see a bunch of these vidoes, you realize love aint gunna work.

Love ain't gonna work with these guys - that's true. But the real battle - IMO - is being lost. The battle for the minds of those repressed in all, but especially, Islamic countries. For every one of these idiots who we kill during the occupation, I bet 5 are convinced that they should join up. And for all of Saddam diabolical behavior, Iraq has never been a big source of terrorist recruits. It's in Yemen, Saudi, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan, Algeria...

When the Western World start helping these places straighten out - the Madrassas, the Imans, the Mosques - will lose their mystic and sanctuary of last resort status. Instead, we are complicit in the repression by propping up these regimes either because we support them or threaten them. We're losing and time is running out.

Do not try to justify yourself. You believe this is for "educational purpose" only do you? Do you really need to watch several videos to build your point? The same arguments were given by convincted guys who were customers of the "snuff movies" in the mid 90s. Basic instinct.

Obviously you are not living in a rural area. When you grow up as a kid in a farm with livestock either you become accustomed of the beheading of ducks and chickens if not pigs or who will not forget the sound of the trachea of dying animals. Sounds funny? It is an interesting step into future beaviour.

I am not in the military nor in the law enforcement nor I pretend to be part of. I don't know how I will react in case I have to shoot at /kill someone whatever is the reason. But I don't need morbid voyeurism to make my point of how close are those people to the ground level of humanity.

I am not a pacifist saying "Pardon those poor oppressed resistants". Clearly they must die for what they did. But do you want to behead those guys too? Becoming the beast they are? It is very easy to write like many others on this Forum " I'll put a bullet in his head", I'll rip his guts", "****ing terrorists blabla.." from behind you desk. Words. As a first aid volunteer I have seen enough blood and pain to know the reality is different from the screen and not fascinating.

Plus watching the videos is precisely what the terrorists are waiting for.

Maybe so but they are also strengthening the coalition by showing these vids. As a soldier in the first gulf war I was in northern Iraq when the Iraqi army was butchering the kurds and could not believe someone could do this to helpless people.

Whats going on now is just unimaginable.

Thanks for teaching me about myself ;-) I know that those videos are not for educational purpose and everyone is free to decide whether to watch those horrible acts or not. Period. And I never said anything you try to put on me. Anyways, I am an euro-wussi myself and have nothing to do with anything military :-)
