Just heard on the news that there has been some massive explosions in the centre of Baghdad (nothing new there) but no sign of AAA or any aircraft in the sky. And that people in central command in Quatar and Washington are saying that this looks like the work of SF and CIA agents actually in Baghdad.
that parachute seen could have been spec op links apparently
not necessarily personel but perhaps supplies...

just heard on MSN...DoD confirms those latest explosions are the result of US Spec Ops (CAG? DEVGRU? CIA?) and 'Iraqi resistance'.
Also...early reports that advancing US forces *MAY* have found a chemical weapons plant. If this is true....Chirac can eat his words.

Just heard about that speculation of iraqi resistence myself. Also if these reports are right that US forces have found a massive amount of illegal chemical weapons then chirac can take his words of " needing more evidence" and stick it up his ass! also on one more piont ITV are saying that there is alot more action at RAF Fairford than there has been over the past four days adding that the fact that there could be alot of **** about to take place over the next 24 hours
Maybe the parachutes the Iraqis saw could have been like Navy SEALs or Delta or somebody dont you guys think?

Possible but a bit to risky...surely it would be easier get them in by car or truck and with help from the iraqis.
didn't chirac say that he'd send french troops if WMD were found?
so we might french soldiers dropping their rifles in iraq some time soon

I think the French said they give aid if chemical weapons were used.

60 Minutes showed some of the SF video that was shot by the embedded journalist. They were only allowed to go as far as the insertion point, then they had to stay with the helo and go back to base. So no combat action was seen.

BG Brooks said in a news conference this morning that American, British, and Austrailian SOF are conducting DA and SR missions throughout Iraq.

Now I doubt that anyone parachuted into Bagdad. It is just slightly illogical, and not in an "Ardennes offensive" kinda way. Keep in mind, if you take control of their minds, you've already won.

Ya man, theres no way they would have parachuted into the city. They were saying that some SF are soo close to baghdad that they can see the city lights.
