I went to Santa Monica, California this summer with my wife. We ate at this restaurant where they serve nothing but bugs asian style. It was DELICIOUS :D I also ate rodent(field mouse/white mouse) and dog meat when I visited Asia.

I ate ants once. Haggis in Scotland was a treat. I am one of the few people I am aware of who was happy when the chow hall served liver and onions for lunch. ;)

I also had dog meat before, I think the next thing would be snake. Some people think squid or ocotopuss is weird. Theres these fish that they fry, they are about 3-4inches long and you just eat them whole...nice and crunchy, plus they are filled with eggs. How about cow tongue, is that weird? and chicken heart?

Cant think of anymore right now

Shark, Gator, Caribou burger, Bison, Ostritch, termites, and who knows what else. I have gone to some ghetto chinese restaurants here in NYC and im sure i have eaten pigeon n rat.

Ohh and a little bit of cat *wink wink*. You have to make sure they have been shaved first though. haha

How the **** can you eat a dog? That's just weird, kinda like eating a human. :| I'd bloody spew, then kick the **** out of the jap who cooked it.

But the weirdest food I've eaten is probably what arrived on my plate when I tried making some spicy sausages today, far out they looked like ****, like not just "****", but ****-****, poop you know...and they tasted nothing at all... I gotta learn to cook. :|

What you need to learn is to respect other peoples cultures.

I'm all for respecting other cultures, but eating a dog is f*cked up. :(

I guess Indians think the same about us when we consume yummy cows.

At the end of the day, any motherf*cker coming to my house to eat my dog is going to die.

There's a food called "ethnocentric" if you ever eat it :slap: No difference than Asian culture look at westerners as weirdos when I told them about what we do to woman's breasts by stuffing a silicon bag in it.

wierdest food out of Manila

boiled duck embryo- basically its boiled egg though inside is a mixture of hard egg white, tasty, veiny egg yolk and of course the duck embryo/fetus.

dog meat- you have to cook it in a spicy casserole so that there will be no after taste.

helmet- grilled chicken heads in a stick, dipping it in vinegar with chili, onion, garlic

adidas- grilled chicken feet

betamax- this is actually grilled pudding (blood), I dont know where they got the name.

day old chick- a 1 day old chick deep fried

actually TF160SOAR, the slaughter house is an experience everybody should have, i go there once a month to drop off cows for my boss. i got to go 'behind the scenes' one day and saw the whole process of killing a cow. they bring the cow in put this big compressed air piston to its head and BAM it drops, then they cut its throat and off it goes to the butcher. anyway, wierdist thing i ate was a worm, every little kid eats a worm though...

crawfish - sea salt - new potatoes - yukon gold potatoes - shallots - whole onions - green onion - garlic - pepper - sea salt - carrots - water - booze - cayenne - TABASCO - bay leaves - corn on cob (known to Europeans as horse feed) + one B.A.P, boil (big ass pot) , serve strained and dumped onto a few huge platters (or ice) w/ Ketchup mixed with Horseradish & Tabasco , along with coleslaw - "french" bread, sausage - cooked in beer.

Last year me and some mates did this thing that we called "bastard of the year". How it worked was at the end of each week we would vote for whoever was giving you the ****s or whatever, we wrote down votes and reasons for voting and read em out, it went for about 12 weeks and at the end the 3 with the higest votes had to sit on a panel and plead their case, and the others got to vote one of them as the "bastard of the year".
As Bastard of the year you had to eat a massive F***ed up sandwich made by all the others.... I was the bastard of the year.
The sandwich was huge it got made out of a hollowed out vienna bread loaf and they filled it with: Stale yoghurt, balsamic vinegar, olives, 5 whole chillies, a curry bomb, can tuna, can salmon, stale almonds, Splice flavoured Big M powder, oyster sauce, 2 raw eggs and some can ham.

I ate it, and threw up twice, the good thing was i swallowed the chillies whole and they came out whole, No ring burn the day after! woot
apart from the curry bomb...

I ate at a place in Timor where there were lots of cats, we ordered a lot of chicken, and were told it'd be 20 minutes or so. We came back in 10 - the chicken was cooking, but the cats were gone...

I met a man in Zanzibar who said Albino children were delicious.
He also made a nice grilled meat, must have been in the marinade...

I have also eaten a 1960's lolly... was psychadelic.

but the strangest thing I have eaten is "Beef and Vegetables - Dutch Style" in the old Aussie Rat Pack. The strange part is the put "Dutch Style" on it to try and convince you its doesnt taste like whatever was left on the kitchen bench with gravy.

Deep fried guinea pig on a stick - think crunchy corn dog - in Colon, Panama. Didn't realize exactly what it was until I'd bitten off the head. Then of course I had to finish it for macho reasons. On the plus side, my two buddies with me then had to eat one to maintain equilibrium. Street vendors - gotta love'em!

Past that - live lobster - didn't boil them long enough and figured, this will be interesting . . . .

A locol delicacy in Japan (Fukuoka) little fish eggs packed together. It looks like a piece of salmon, same color, but the taste is very spicy and... not very good.

Also shrimp crackers served with cold chocolate. Cold chocolate is good, but not with these crackers.

Y'ALL crazy. Horse meat isn't exotic. Horse meat is FANTASTIC. There is a very good horse butcher around me, and he makes salami from horse. It's as good as a good can be.

I never said I didn't like it.

I've had a cup of hedgehog blood...and no I am not kidding. It was disgusting.

Can't imagine you get much blood out of a hedgehog, got images of the orange juice making machines running through my head now! Stags blood really ain't too bad when it's warm and fresh.

I get Bún bò Huế at a local pho place. Can't go wrong with pig's blood cake in a nice bowl of soup.
