Norwegian CV9030N in Afghanistan. If it can be answered here, how's the engine performance on other CV90s? I have served as a CV9030N driver for one year, and we were told that the Norwegian versions are quite "tuned up" compared to other versions. Just wanted to know if this is correct.

what is the monitor for?
Itís for the under-barrel and the backward looking cameras. In near future it will also be for the battlefield information and navigation system (primary function of it).

In the Swiss army there is a vehicle commander who stays in the turret and a dismountable troop commander. Both of them have a monitor.
I donít know how it is in US army but in France the vehicle and troop commander is the same person and he dismounts whit the troops. Thatís why they decided to have a one man turret in the VBCI.

Yes they have. You can see on this picture a thermal image on the vehicle commander monitor.
