Worst beer: Haven't found it yet.
Best beer: Pretty much any beer that comes from a Craft Brewery, namely American.

heineken is a great beer dont know what the hell you're smoking
Dutch Heineken is okay, but the American version is very overrated.
Speaking of overrated beers, Corona is #1 in my book.
Worst? Perhaps the mass-produced American beers, with Miller Genuine Draft being the least-worst of the worst, and the light versions of all being the worst of the worst.

A good way to tell if someone doesn't know **** about beer is if they say they like Corona. Most overrated beer in the world (and Mexico actually makes some pretty decent beers, such as Bohemia, Carta Blanca, and Dos Equis!)
Heinekin, Becks and St. Pauli Girl are also overrated.
Budweiser and Coors are an embarrassement to the US.
But I'd have to say the worst beer I've had is South Korean OB.
(if you ever go to Korea, drink HITE instead)
ALES RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess I'll just quote my post from almost five years ago, to save time. I have to say, I've become more fond of lagers since then, though. Especially European pilseners.

Forgot something, canned / beer Guinness has a dark soysauce or Chinese shrimp paste aftertaste. Only draft Guinness is worth drinking and it leaves a black coffee after taste.

I'm pretty sure Heineken for the international market gets brewed over here as well, just not too sure if they do anything differently. I'm not a beer drinker AT ALL(had some weird experiences with alcohol when i was around 16-17 that have led me to drink very little) but i can't say i care much for canned Heineken. maybe i should try it from the tap sometime.
Worst British beers are essentially any of the lagers that are brewed here (Carling, Fosters, Kronenbourg, Stella Artois, Miller....) or anything with "creamflow", "smoothpour" or the equivalent sh*t in the title so that includes John Smiths, Boddingtons, Worthingtons....
I stand by my five and a half year old post.

The ones for Greece and Thailand are locally brewed. I forgot about Britain, iirc they also brewed Heineken locally there.

I thought the whole point of Heineken on the American market is that it is import, thus warranting a premium price. Heineken is clever like that.

Heineken is bloody awful beer, drinkable only when there is nothing else available which is pretty much at any familiar reunion, or university party. That's why most of the time I take my own beer lol. Black Becks is not that bad though.
You are the with no taste whatsoever. NEVER AGAIN ADDRESS ME

My internet works well, so you don't have to "scream" so I can "hear" you. And no - that won't make you cool.
But maybe some well-chilled beer will :-)
Still, Pilsner is very good beer.
Czechs do have better than that, but Pils is ok too.

Haha, I'm actually kidding. Hell I don't care for what other people drink, I was giving my opinion about Pissner beers that's all. IMO, there is nothing like a good Belgian beer. Been a while since I last drank a beer though, February of this year I believe. I tried to drink some national beers here in Venezuela (Regional and Solera Blue and Green) and I almost threw up because of the taste.

Czech beer is probably one of my favorite, IMO. Czechvar, Crusovich, Kozel...

Too many to list, there's some real cheap P.O.S that many would never even hear of because they simply go out of business for being so ****e.
There was a brand called Hammer n'Tongs that was sold for like $18 a carton here last year. Probably equates to $10 cost price. I took one sip and just shuddered it down.
THE worst mainstream beer? Too many tied options. Probably Bintang or Fosters

There are no bad beers, some are just better than others.
I'm not a beer coinnesseur, but I am a certified taster for the brewery I work at. I agree with the comment above. The only "bad" beers are old ones or ones that have been compromised.
On a personal taste, I could not handle more than a gulp or two of "Fin du Monde" or "Three Towns 8.2 (i think)". These are not very "poundable" imo.
There are many beers that I do enjoy and some that I know I would enjoy but have never tasted. The top beer on this list is Maui Brewing Co.'s Coconut Porter. I tried to order a case of this, but it came to more than $150 with shipping, maybe someday. Just thinking of this beer gets me worked up, if god had a v agina, this is how it would taste.

There was a beer brewed in Los Angeles called Brew 102. That was the worst sh1t I ever had. Their brewery was right near City Hall.
Another pretty bad one was Knickerbocker Natural from the New York area.

In my youth I went to a few pubs that served their own "IPA" or "Porter" that was largely made up of whatever had accumulated in the bar's drip-trays. I was not privy to this information when I tried them, but I lived and learned.
My eldest son seems to enjoy Mexican beers like Sol and Corona. Having tried them at one of his BBQs for the world cup I'd sooner liken them to diluted piss than beer.
Give me a pint of Bass or Wadsworth 6X any day...

It's not as bad as Bud or Fosters, but still if you drink cold (not frozen) you can't taste much.. a bit shallow taste.

Worst for me is Bud light and Natural ice. All of my friends drink those two and I hate it. I have been drinking Yuengling Traditional lager, I be lovin dem ****s draft.
I have wanted to try Blue Moon but all I hear is bad things.

Some would be surprised to know that I've had a few people tell me they genuinely liked Budweiser. But I have to reply, if it's such great stuff, why can't it compete with other beers? It's a well-known practice of Anheiser-Busch to pay for sponsorship of sports events, to ensure that no other brands may be sold there. They must know that spectators won't drink their bland, sudsy brew, unless it's the only thing that's available.

Falstaff, dont even know if they make it anymore.
But in 1982 we could get a case for $2.50 from the Ft. Hood Shoppette and drink to oblivion in the Barracks for less than 10 bucks American.

IIRC after going through the brewery tour and getting drunker at the end, the tour guide said something about them brewing the Hein for North America there in Amsterdam. It was also a different recipe than the European Heins, again iirc, as i was kind of blatto.
Jamaica makes Hein also, my favorite. They also make one of the best guinness's as well.
Most of the cheapo mass produced US and Canuk beers suck balls, but work well as CLP or antifreeze.
Wow, nothing comes to mind. They all stop the spiders from attacking off the ceiling.

They do brew Heineken locally here in Thailand. It's not very spectacular though. To be honest, none of the local stuff is. I'd say Beer Leo is the best and that's a C at best.

Falstaff, dont even know if they make it anymore.
@ LD - In late 60s we sometimes got to recover at Ubon RTAB. Many times the only beer in the AF NCO club (at least for Army pukes) was Falstaff or Carlings Black Label at $0.10 a can IIRC. Rumor was that even the hijackers would leave that stuff alone in the transports and was the only reason the club had it. We drank it cause it was "beer".:-(

On a school trip to Greece we found a goldmine close to the hotel. A whole yard full with cases of Amstel and Heineken. At night we broke into it and stole three boxes.
Our disapproval of law was punished severly. The sell-by-date was 2 years in the past. Unfortunately we were drunk before we tried it and didn't notice FIRST. We didn't vomit but all had the ****s. 2 years of greek sun doesn't do well on beer.
pic of the incident i took, if you look at the cases you will notice that they do not look "fresh". My vote goes to decomposed Heineken.
