Cheney was dressed like stupid kid! During ceremony of 60th anniversary of liberation of the Auschwitz he had cap with words "Staff 2001", parka and tourist boots. All other VIPs had black coats and suits.
Other VIP's clothes showed their respect to the victims.
Where did you found him??

To be fair, Cheney is one more heart attack away from literally becoming the "holy ghost" of the current administration's trinity so I dont blame him for dressing "appropriately".
Ichbabe likes to show off his pictures of himself where he goes to parties dressed up like the vice president. :D I like where the American flag is placed on your outfit. :D And for the record, it's Mr. Plow.

What would happen if we make the drawer big, perhaps purchase a completely new drawer?

What would happen if we make the drawer big, perhaps purchase a completely new drawer?Bigger would work, but it would take time, this must be filed immediately. So we look at the "get another drawer" option - but then we would have to name it Doo Part 2. We can't put Doo in Doo part two, that would throw the whole filing system out of whack. Do you wanna be the one who's got to re-sort the whole system because of one drawer? Therefore, we file it under Whoop :D

Get over it. This is just another reason for whiney people to bash on the United States. He went, he took the time to go, that's enough respect, stop trying to hang excessive meaning on it. Black is not the color of mourning in every culture, it's just a superficial label people have put on it. Respect comes from inside, not from your snow gear.
I mean, what has Poland done recenlty that was worthwhile?
I know, I apologize Mr. President, I forgot Poland.

so cheney shows up to an event to honor the million who were systematically slaughtered dressed in everyday clothes and it's no big deal.
if john kerry or hilary clinton showed up at reagan's funeral dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, there would be screaming about the 'disrespect' given to a president.
the weather arguement doesn't hold water either. cheney dressed himself in a dignified manner for his own inauguration. at least he (or more likrly, one of his handlers) went out and redressed himself appropriately afterwards. so it looks like even cheney realized he goofed. all he has to do now is offer an apology. i wouldn't hold your breath waiting.
what would you consider appropriate attire for what is esentially a funeral? personally, i would have liked for someone to have gone up to cheney during his arrival and ley him know that his wardrobe was inappropriate and he needed to go and change before he would have been allowed to attend.

You speak for yourself, friend. I wouldn't give a rats ass in hell how someone dressed at Reagan's funeral or anyone elses funeral.
They are dead.
As to his inauguration, I recall seeing Bush outside a lot, but never did see Cheney much. I could be wrong as well but I hardly saw the man.
It speaks a lot more that a person was there than not being there at all. It's not just the clothes that make a person.
When I visited Dachau I had jeans, t-shirt and nikes on. I didn't see anyone whine about that.

Private huh? So he paid his own funds and went without security out of the goodness of his heart? He was there representing his country.
In the 'western countries' black is the color of respect. Sure he needs his heart and head warm, but we could get him a black parka! - Wether he likes it or not, he is representing the united states. So yes, the world does indeed care that he shows the proper respect - Otherwise dont come.

As for me, I HATE Cheney, but on this I gotta side with the people who are defending him. Sure, he could have dressed a little better, but to make a big deal out of this is nit-picky. I think peoples' energies would be better spent questioning WHY ordinary Germans allowed the Holocaust to happen and how we can prevent genocide in the future, in addition to showing respect for those who suffered and died in Aushwitz.
