When I see...

I don't know about other people but when I see the Iraqi National Guard and Iraqi Police out patrolling the streets and when I see the people voting and when i see how happy the Iraqis are, it brings such a smile to my face. I feel so happy for them and the chances they have been given. But just seeing everything brings such a smile to my face.

Today is hopefully the beginning of a great and peaceful future for Iraq. I've been smiling all day, its was kinda like a stress reliever today...I guess I just feel taxed after hearing everyday how horrible things are in Iraq, I felt like it was such a deep sh*thole..., but I mean just seeing how great the elections turned out...I feel like there is good being done over there and its not a hopeless situation(like the media states).

I do know that there is bad still going on, and that the elections will not solve these problems overnight...but I can hope and pray that this is the beginning gear that sets everything into motion...
