Austrian "Gendarmerie einsatz-kommando" (GEK) COBRA was the winner of the "International Combat Team Conference 2003", a competition between 45 counter- terrorism and SWAT teams around the world.
The final classification was:

I) GEK (Austria)

II) NOCS (Italy)

II) Army Ranger Wing (Ireland)

Was there any pictures or video of the actual event? Were north American teams also involved?

I dont beleave that any US Teams took part in the event this year as all of our Anti Terrorist military Teams are currently busy...... :lol:

not much of an international competition....

It's still a international competition regardless of who decides not to attend.
