Ok, explain me how can the head of NATO know nothing about potential enemy's hardware. The story is that while beign in Russia with a visit George Robertson, I believe he is still there, was invited for show and tell to some russian millitary base and after checking out BTRs, BMPs, and etc. asked the question that russians would never expect from a head of NATO.

After that Rus commander got lost for a second or two, looked at mr. Robertson like he was retarded from birth and said: "All of our armour except MBTs can swim"
Now I wonder, what are the exact qualifications to become the head of NATO...

Sure. Thanks to his family relations he served 2 years in the NAVY as a basic flight instructor on unarmed airplanes at NAS Pensacola. A cool and safe location. Never saw any combat mission because he'd rather prefer the political career.

Like the President, he marketed his so called "glorious military past" into a tale.

Beeing a civilian does not necessarily mean you are incompetent in dealing with military decisions unless you have respect for the men on the ground.
A civilian or a military dumb, is still a dumb*. ;)

No, it falls into artillery systems category and it can't swim but can ford just like MBTs up to 5 m. I included it just because the link to the video was on the same page.
