What kind of helmet do the UDF use? I've seen plenty of footage on the news and it seems that they use some kind of loose camo/kevlar/whatever over their helmets.

The IDF standard issue helmet is made in Israel by various contractors such as Rabintex, Orlite and others according to IDF specifications. The helmet is used by all Israeli security forces, including both military and civilian.
The helmet has an IDF standard issue woodland helmet cover, which attached to the helmet via Velcro, although many units make their own modified variants.
Another common helmet accessory is the "Mit'znefet" ("Clown Hat" in Hebrew), a camouflage net which is placed above the helmet in order to distort the helmet's typical rounded shape. The Mit'znefet is fully reversible - one side has woodland pattern and the other a desert pattern.
Since 2000 due to budget issues the IDF has also began issuing American made PASGAT helmets. However, the Israeli made helmet is still the more common one.
Most of the IDF helmets have level 1 protection, hence are only fragments proof. However, Counter Terror units are also issued level 3 ceramic helmets which are bullets proof. The ceramic helmets are very heavy and are used only for short duration urban operations.
Many helmets also has visors for riot control.

Wrong , only because IDF faced massive Urban Treat with a new peak
of Intidafa Al Akca , MOD didnt have SHEQUELS to buy more
V2 and V3 helmets for Reserve infantry units so they used
US Military money to purchase this gear from US.
No they back to normal , buying from local companies.

I was really curious about that camouflage net... I guess it's useful in a sniper environment, no?

Yes it is
"The helmet hat, better known in the IDF as Mitz'nefet ("Clown Hat" in Hebrew), is designed to distort the typical rounded shape of the helmet and to blend it with the surroundings during daytime.
While very simple, the Mitz'nefet is actually very effective, especially when the soldier is in the ****e position with his head very visible. The Mitz'nefet is also a very effective hat and is often worn right on the head in order to protect from the sun. Combined with the IDF full body camouflage suit the Mitz'nefet is a high quality system adapted to the desert climate in the Middle East, which doesn't allow the usage of more complex system like Ghillie suits.
The Mitz'nefet is made from the IDF standard issue camouflage net by stitching a rubber band to the net. The Mitz'nefet is then placed on the helmet, the rubber band surrounds the helmet and attaches the Mitz'nefet firmly to the helmet. The Mitz'nefet is also secured to the helmet with a Para cord.
Like the camouflage net from which it's made the Mitz'nefet is reversible - one size is painted with green color scheme and is used in bushes, and the other side is painted with brown and sand color scheme and is used in desert surroundings.
The Mitz'nefet first entered service in the IDF SF in the early 1990's. Like with other tactical devices originating from the SF, the Mitz'nefet also began to be used by the IDF conventional units in the mid 1990's.
Today the Mitz'nefet is almost a standard issue item in all infantry oriented units including both conventional and special forces. However, it's not officially issued by the IDF. Instead, in the conventional units each soldier makes one for himself, while in the better-equipped SF units, the unit itself makes the Mitz'nefet and then issues them to the operators. "

Does anyone know where to purchase such helmet? I´m a collector and really want such helmet for my collection (used or new, doesnt matter). If you have a link where to buy one, or have one for trade or sale, dont hesitate writing me (for trade I can offer a Danish kevlar incl. cover).
Thanks
