It talks about how there will be multiple predators/aliens and scenes were both sides prevail so probably what you are going to see is the movie ends up being a tie or leaves you with a cliffhanger for a sequel. Personally, I dont think that they will have one side win so that it will appeal to all the fans.

There was a comic book series called Alien vs. Predator out in DC comics a while ago. I'm sure it must be based on that.

When I was a kid I loved seeing the Predator and Alien movies.

There has been a whole host of A V. P comics (I have loads of them) the stories are very good and with us humans caught in the middle I imagine this won't be the only A V. P movie made. The subject matter is very deep within us (the hunter and the survivor) and with both main characters against us it will be really good to see ourselves as the weak party in the movie, I can't wait !!!!

Ahhh the good old alien vs predator movie....about time. I remeber way back in 94-95 playing the Atari Jaguar (ya thats right Jaguar) and they made a really good version of the game. I remeber playing it until they kicked me outta the store....havent played any of the computer versions but they just dont look as good as the jaguar versions. It was quite intense gameplay i remeber being scared to open doors cause you know your going to be f_cked once the doors open...plus it was intense being kicked outta the store...too bad for the website use's dreaded quicktime players...i would watch the preview but quicktimes welfare and f_cks computers on start-up.

Plain and simple a predator would win against a bunch of aliens but dude a hive, f*cking sh*t thats a lot of damn aliens, I dont think predators would have enough sh*t to kill em off. The movie is proboly going to be about as good as reserection so dont get your hopes up, and it will have nothing to do with either the game or the comic, its gonna be Ok at best. I think the next alien movie ridley scott wants to direct is gonna kick a$$, he being the director of the first of the saga (and the most well made of them) shoudl do a damn good job.

And i think AvP will kind of a prequel to the Alien series because i was reading somewhere that a young Bishop might appear at some time during the movie and it might have links to the company but then again i might be totally wrong

Plot -

Something like the THING... where an investigative/archeological expedition visits a site in Antarctica in which an ancient pyramid akin to aztec design is uncovered. The leader/financier of this expedition is names Weyland... and come to find out this site turns out to be a training ground for younger Predators who train against Aliens as a rite of passage....

Anyhow, the premise sounds interesting and couldnt be any worse than HELLBOY
