Its not a DOAV. The vest is thick and that DOAV is not.

I believe BHI is one of the official gear supplier for the movie, and there are various combination of gears for "D-Boys" in the movie. mostly wearing a AOA TP-1E or PT Body Armor with web gear, including LC2 Y strap, E-LBV, Eagle TAC-V1/V2 alike Vest, and BHI Chest Rig.

which D-operator you talking about?
There are many variations.

black hawk chest harness are used. But mostly they were modified and custom made.

TT rifle vests are not used in BHD movie at all.

negative on eagle vests. They are not used.

i.e. Randy's LBV were modified LBV88 vest.(lower granade pouches were taken off, magazine pouches been lowered.) It is distinctive because of oversized shoulder straps/pads, back pannel and cords retention between backpannel and side pannels.

i.e. "hoot" looks like wearing mesh based vest and seperate chest harness(Modified. Not as is. BHI chest harness doesnt have adjustable D rings/loops while the one hoot were had D rings/loops for adjusting shoulder strap lentgh) on top of it.

most of gears in BHD is custom made either by BHI or modified based on BHI products. Also I see some old alice gear pouches on webbing belt.

if you are after EXACT impression of BHD D-operator impression, good luck unless you have access to sewing facility and trained personnel. But you can get as close as possible.
If you are after "hoot", or some other D-operators, get some mesh based vest(probably will have to take pouches off), BHI chest harness, web belt with fastex buckle, Alice webbing pouches, a buttpack, canteen pouches and gas mask pouch on the back of vest(Attached by alice clips.), BHI or EI leg holster.)
If you are after "randy", SOE LBVs might be the closest. You can go with issued/unissued/replica(yuck) LBV88 but the appearance of front is lot different than what "randy" were wearing in the movie. However, if you don't have M1a/M14, you won't ever get close to the impression. :P

The funny thing about BHD gear custums, that the gears they wearing is changing randomly. not by hugh but slightly changing in each scene. i.e. different gear pockets(sometimes Alice pouches then same guy appears with modern type pouches after 15mins.)

hope this helps.

ps. don't go to tac gear/ airsoft boards and ask this question. you are likely going to get flamed hard out. no offense, no disrespect. just an advice.

I may be in the market for a PL pouch or that FUGLY, but right now I'm still waiting for the MM Dumber from RecceGear. After that I'll have to see what I'm gonna get next.

Honestly, I'm just interested in what awsomeness you're gonna cook up next.

The armor vests used in that movie were fake. I am %100 positive. They were bought cheap and are airsoft copies. You can get them from some airsoft suppliers.

The body armour used by some in the film was original PT body armour. I brought a set this weekend with a certificate stating the vest was used in the production of the film. It has the original PT lable with the stunt mans name written over it.
